Hotel Lobby Barista

As a Hotel Lobby Barista, you are responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring each encounter brings guest satisfaction and a positive and excellent guest experience. As Barista, you would also be required to have extensive coffee knowledge of menu offerings.

    • Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner

    • Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service

    • Ensure knowledge of menu and all products

    • Prepares coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso, latte, and cappuccino

    • Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies for coffee bar

    • Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance

    • Ensure mis-en-place is well stocked at all floor stations

    • Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues or challenges

    • Ensure coffee orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner

    • Ensure compliance of Hotel brand standards

    • Comply with company security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

    • Practice standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene

    • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

    • To perform any other duties as assigned

    • Experience in Food & Beverage department and/or industry

    • Wage: From $15 per hour (plus gratuity)

    • Most earn between: $20 - $30 per hour

    • Full-time (year-round)
